2026 Veterans' Mental Health and Wellness Summit

Supporting veterans and military families requires more than programs and services. It requires a connected network of professionals, advocates, caregivers, and community leaders working together to ensure those who have served our country have access to the care, resources, and support they deserve.

Since opening its first Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic in 2015, Endeavors has grown from a Texas leader into a national leader in veteran care, veteran mental health, and behavioral health services for veterans and military families.

Today Endeavors operates four Cohen Clinics across Texas and Hawai'i, in addition to four Health & Wellness Centers and multiple virtual behavioral health programs for veterans, making the organization a leader in expanding access to high-quality mental health care by reducing barriers related to cost, transportation, eligibility, and geography.

This fall, Endeavors will once again bring professionals, advocates, caregivers, and community leaders together for the 2026 Veterans' Mental Health & Wellness Summit, centered on the theme:

Thriving Together: Strengthening and Sustaining a Network for Veterans and Military Families

The summit, which will feature a lineup of expert speakers, panels, and breakout workshops, will focus on advancing mental health care for veterans, mental health care for military families, and mental health care for military spouses through collaboration, innovation, and practical solutions that strengthen systems of care nationwide.

Why This Work Matters

Veteran mental health remains one of the most pressing challenges facing our communities. As veteran deaths by suicide continue to hover above 17 per day, research shows that post-9/11 veterans experience higher rates of psychological distress and behavioral health challenges than many of their civilian peers.

These challenges affect entire families. Military spouses, caregivers, children, and loved ones often experience the lasting impacts of military service and transition, making comprehensive family-centered care essential.

The Summit brings together all the professionals, advocates, and caregivers who serve the military community -- with Continuing Education Units (CEUs) available for eligible professionals working in veteran services, behavioral health, and related fields.

Join Us in Austin or Online

The summit will be held at the Thompson Conference Center at The University of Texas at Austin, with a fully virtual attendance option available.

The Veterans' Mental Health & Wellness Summit is more than a conference. It is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, share evidence-based practices, and develop solutions that expand access to care for veterans and their families.

Whether you are a clinician, researcher, service provider, policymaker, caregiver, or military family advocate, your perspective is critical to building a stronger future for veteran and military family wellness.
