Aaron Steffen

Aaron Steffen serves as a Intake / Clinician at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, San Antonio, where he delivers high-quality care to Veterans and military families. As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) under the supervision of a supervising clinician, Aaron is diligently working towards obtaining his Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.

Prior to joining the Cohen Clinic at Endeavors, Aaron earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice and dedicated nine years to law enforcement. He then transitioned into social work, completing his master’s degree in social work at Grand Valley State University.

Aaron's initial training took place at the Ottawa County Jail, where he provided individual, and group substance use therapy for incarcerated adults. Subsequently, he worked at Kent County Community Mental Health's Behavioral Health Crisis Center, assisting adults with complex needs.

In 2024, Aaron became a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Texas. He now provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults, as well as couples and group therapy. Aaron is proficient in delivering services through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
