She holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Master’s degree from Boston College, where she specialized in Global Clinical Practice and earned certificates in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Trauma.

Khia is fluent in English and Spanish and has advanced proficiency in Portuguese. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, scuba diving, and traveling.
