Andrea Magdaleno

Andrea is a Clinician at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, El Paso. She earned her Master of Education in Counselor Education: Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University in 2018. Since graduating, Andrea has worked with many populations to include, first responders, victims of crime, and military populations. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families through challenging life experiences.

Andrea is trained in evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT),  and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Her approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered, emphasizing teamwork and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process. She also believes strongly in overall wellness and the connection between mental, emotional, and physical health.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys working out, baking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
