Geri Hopkins
Clinician
Geri Ann Hopkins is a Clinician for The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, Killeen, where she provides mental health treatment to Active Duty, Veterans and military families. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Geri Ann is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges with compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care. As a veteran, she brings firsthand understanding of military culture, the unique demands of service life, and the transitions that impact service members, veterans, and their families.
Geri Ann’s clinical work focuses on helping clients navigate relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, communication difficulties, life transitions, and stress related to military service. She strives to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.
Working within a military community has strengthened her commitment to culturally competent care that honors resilience while recognizing the emotional impact of deployments, separations, career changes, and reintegration into civilian life. Geri Ann utilizes approaches grounded in systems theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based interventions, and strength-focused practices tailored to each client’s goals and needs.
Geri Ann believes healing happens through connection, authenticity, and practical support. Her goal is to help clients build healthier relationships, improve emotional well-being, and develop tools that foster long-term growth both personally and professionally.
