Veterans and military families in the community now have access to more services.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Sept. 9, 2021) El Paso, Texas – National non-profit Endeavors joined El Paso leaders on Thursday to introduce new supportive services for Veterans and their families. Civic leaders and community members got a first-hand look at Endeavors’ new facilities and insight into the services the organization is set to provide to El Paso-area Veterans and their families.
Endeavors’ Veteran Supportive Services program offers case management to Veterans and military families in need. Other services include rapid re-housing, homelessness prevention, assistance in obtaining VA benefits and services, resources to mental health and substance programs, and other community resources. Endeavors offers supportive services to Veterans and military families in more than 100 Texas counties.
“U.S. service members have put it all on the line and sacrificed greatly for our country. And when they sacrifice, so do their family members,” said Ben Miranda, Jr., Endeavors’ director of Operational Impact & Outreach. “Endeavors is here to ensure they get the care they need — whether they’re still active duty, reservists or retired. We’re proud to assist the men and women from our armed services, and we’re excited to expand those programs and services to El Paso.”
The organization also operates Veteran Supportive Services offices in San Antonio, Waco, Dallas, Killeen, Fort Worth, Kerrville, Corpus Christi, and McAllen. Veteran families with very low income, Veterans facing eviction, or Veterans currently homeless or at risk of homelessness can learn more about Endeavors’ supportive services by calling (915) 320-1390, emailing info@endeavors.org, or by visiting the Endeavors office at 7500 Viscount Drive.
