The Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Program (SAFE ZONE) provides prevention‑focused education, outreach, and support in Puerto Rico, promoting safety, connection, and early intervention.

Where & Who We Serve

Where We Serve: All 78 municipalities of Puerto Rico
Who We Serve: We serve individuals who are currently serving or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reserves. Participants must have a discharge status other than “Dishonorable,” if applicable, and complete a screening during intake to ensure the program is a good fit for their needs.

Services Offered

This program offers 100% free services, including:

One-on-one support and case management
Suicide prevention screening and support services
Connections to mental health and behavioral health providers
Referrals to community resources and supportive services
Wellness and community events
Ongoing check-ins and care coordination
