Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) helps veterans and their families stay in their homes or quickly find stable housing. The program provides short-term financial assistance and personalized support to prevent homelessness or help households move into housing. Services focus on stability, income growth, and long-term success.

Where & Who We Serve

Where We Serve: Corpus Christi and the following counties: Aransas, Bee, Calhoun, Goliad, Kleberg, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Victoria
Who We Serve: Low-income veterans and their families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness

Services Offered

Services are tailored to each household’s needs and may include:

Short-term financial assistance for rent, utilities, and move-in costs
Help finding and securing housing
One-on-one case management and housing support
Help accessing VA benefits and other public resources
Employment and income support services
Referrals to healthcare, legal services, childcare, and community resources

Some participants may qualify for additional rental support through ongoing subsidy programs, based on eligibility.
