Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) helps veterans and their families stay in their homes or quickly find stable housing. The program provides short-term financial assistance and personalized support to prevent homelessness or help households move into housing. Services focus on stability, income growth, and long-term success.

Where We Serve: Waco and the following surrounding counties: Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Henderson, Hill, Limestone, McLennan, Navarro
Who We Serve: Low-income veterans and their families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness

Services Offered

Short-term financial assistance for rent, utilities, and move-in costs
Help finding and securing housing
One-on-one case management and housing support
Help accessing VA benefits and other public resources
Employment and income support services
Referrals to healthcare, legal services, childcare, and community resources
