SSG Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Program

Safe Zone: Transforming lives, creating opportunities

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs reports that over 6,400 veterans died by suicide in 2022 alone. In response to this crisis, Endeavors Puerto Rico has launched Safe Zone, a vital initiative under the SSG Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Program. Honoring the legacy of Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox, Safe Zone supports veterans, active-duty military members, and their families across all 78 municipalities of Puerto Rico. Through a range of services, including Suicide Prevention Training, Community Resource Access, and Family Psychoeducation, the program fosters enhanced emotional well-being and strengthens family connections.
