BRINGING HOPE TO THE HOLIDAYS
The Endeavors Blessing Tree program assists in fulfilling holiday wishes for hundreds of our Bexar County clients that we serve, who are enrolled in our Veteran and Community Housing & Supportive Services programs. These programs provide supportive housing, case management, professional counseling, life skills training, and employment opportunities for chronically homeless adults with disabilities and their children throughout Texas.
Our Blessing Tree tags are posted on a virtual tree, for individuals to claim. Once you have claimed your tag(s), you can start shopping! All our clients provide their age, gender, clothing/shoe size and a wish for a gift. Clients range in age all the way from newborn to seniors. Your contribution to sponsoring a tag supports veterans, children, and those who have experienced homelessness.
HOW IT WORKS
- Shopping Guide: We have our clients provide as much information as possible to assist you with your shopping. It is not expected for you to buy everything from the tag, but to use it as a guide. We have found that $70 is a good average to purchase a pair of shoes, clothing, and an item from their wish list (especially if you find holiday deals)!

Drop-Off Dates: Your un-wrapped gift(s) may be dropped off between Tuesday, Nov. 18th - Tuesday, Dec 9th at the Endeavors Headquarters office located at 6363 De Zavala Road. Hours for drop-off are between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
You can also drop off gifts at either of the following Haverty's Furniture locations in San Antonio or Selma: 13141 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78249 or 14555 Forum Pkwy, Selma, TX 78154If you’re unable to drop off your gift in person, no worries! You also have the option to ship your purchased items directly to the Endeavors Headquarters office (6363 De Zavala Road, San Antonio, TX 78249). If you choose this option, please be sure to send a quick email to blessingtree@endeavors.org with the tag number and a list of the items purchased so our team can properly track, organize, and match your gift.
- Labeling & Packaging: Please ensure that your gift(s) are labeled with the identification number located on your virtual tag. It is recommended that you drop off your gift(s) packaged together in a box or bag to avoid separation. Once you claim a tag, you will receive a confirmation email with the ID number for the tag(s) you claim.
- Follow-Up Communication: Updates for gift drop-off, marking your gift as “delivered,” and wrapping party details will be sent out throughout the process, after a tag is claimed.
- Volunteer Opportunity: Join us and help wrap gifts by signing up to volunteer here. We expect to wrap over 2,000 individually wrapped gifts again this year! Save the date for December 16th if you want to participate.
