HURRICANE IAN RECOVERY EFFORTS
In September 2022, Hurricane Ian struck Florida at 160 miles per hour with Category 4 winds, the deadliest hurricane to strike Florida since 1935. Nearly 2.1 million residents lost power, and approximately 35,000 homes were damaged or destroyed. The aftermath of Hurricane Ian has had serious repercussions, including lost vehicles and property, unemployment, and severe financial impacts.
With over 2,200 families impacted by natural disasters in the United States, Endeavors is committed to supporting those most in need of recovery. Our organization can manage multiple disaster case management teams across various locations, working alongside local community organizations to provide aid. While we do not offer direct financial assistance, Endeavors is dedicated to linking survivors with the right financial assistance resources.
