Adrienne Gery
Adrienne Gery is a Clinical Fellow for The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, San Antonio, where she provides therapy for individuals, couples and families. Adrienne is currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT Associate) under the supervision of our clinic director. She is working toward her full licensure as a LMFT. Adrienne served in the United States Army for nine years, during which she took on multiple roles and additional duties, including resilience trainer and sexual harassment/assault victim advocate. Adrienne holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, that she obtained while in the military.
Shortly after transitioning out of the Army, Adrienne continued her education, earning her master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University, so that she could further pursue her passion for helping others. Adrienne is especially passionate about destigmatizing the many mental health difficulties that can be experienced by military veterans and their families and being a witness and advocate to positive therapeutic change and growth!
Prior to working at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, Adrienne worked closely with active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders, providing treatment for substance dependency and co-occurring mental health challenges at a Residential Treatment Center.
In her free time, Adrienne enjoys catching up on her favorite TV shows, spending time with her pets, friends, and family, and singing karaoke.
