Jeffrey Jewell

Jeff is the Corporate Risk Officer responsible for overseeing Endeavors’ Risk, Compliance, and Ethics Programs. He has been with Endeavors since October 2019. 

In his role over Corporate Risk, he provides objective, risk-based advice and insight to executive and senior leadership and the board of directors. He is responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company’s risks across all spectrums. As Ethics Officer, Jeff serves as the internal control point for ethics and improprieties, allegations, complaints, conflicts of interest, and training and awareness while providing corporate leadership and advice on corporate governance issues. In his prior role, Jeff previously served as the Compliance Officer for Endeavors and continues to lead and provide oversight of the Corporate Compliance team with responsibility for identifying and assessing areas of compliance risk and internal controls; and implementing policies and procedures to uphold compliance requirements while monitoring the adherence to those policies and procedures. 

Jeff is an accomplished leader with 34 years of federal experience. Before joining Endeavors, Jeff served as the Chief of the Travel Services Division, and Contracting Officer Representative (COR), at the Financial Services Center, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in Austin, TX for 7 years. Before his tenure with the VA, he served with the United States Air Force for 27 years (23 active duty and 4 as a Civilian Financial Services Officer). His Air Force experience includes Risk, Compliance, Financial Management, Inspector General (IG), and Quality Management positions at Squadron, Group, Wing, Major Command, IG, DoD Joint Service, and National Intelligence levels. 

Jeff has extensive cultural intelligence, competency, and awareness, having served abroad in Europe and Asia for eleven years and living abroad for eighteen years. He has been an avid community volunteer throughout his career and recently served as the Vice Commander of the American Legion Post 309 from 2020-2023. He remains an active Legion Color Guard member. Jeff was recognized with the Endeavors 2021 Louis Zbinden, Jr. Founders Leadership Award. 

Jeff is a highly qualified Risk, Compliance & Ethics Officer, and Department of Defense Financial Manager. He holds certifications as a Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), and Resilience-Building Leadership Professional Trainer (RBLP-T). He holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) and Undergraduate Certificate in Project Management from Colorado State University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Financial Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
